This dip is very popular among Egyptian, Middle Eastern and Northern African cuisine. If you don’t have hummus in your area, you can make a homemade version. You can substitute hummus with cucumber yogurt dip or spinach and artichoke with yogurt dip.

• Coconut sugar is made from the flower of the coconut palm tree. It is less sweet than cane sugar, but it is more flavorful. You can substitute coconut sugar with cane sugar or honey.

• Labrada ISO Lean Pro is a premium whey protein isolate powder. You can usually find these in shops selling health products. If you can’t find any or prefer not to use it, you can substitute with your preferred milk.
