Smoothies are not only perfect to cool you down during hot summer days, they are simply perfect anytime! They are easy and quick to make, healthy, delicious, and a great way to get more fruits and vegetables into your daily diet.



This recipe gives you 2 creamy and delicious smoothies ready in less than 5 minutes. These smoothies are great for breakfast as they both use banana, which is a natural energy booster.

Ingredients:

Banana Date Smoothie:
• 1 ripe banana
• 4 pitted Medjool dates
• 3 ice cubes
• 1 cup of water



Banana Strawberry Fruit Smoothie:
• 1 ripe banana
• 1 slice of pineapple
• 6 small strawberries
• 6 blueberries
• 3 ice cubes

Instructions:

Each smoothie takes about 3 minutes to make. Serves 1.

Put all the ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Serve is a glass.
