French Toast Rolls In 5 Ways For Kids

Want something delicious, but quick and easy to prepare for your kids? Try French toast rolls in 5 ways! The ingredients are usually hanging out there in your kitchen. If not, then they are very easy to find at your favorite grocery store. You can mix and match the ingredients and create more than 5 ways to create a roll. Add other fruits or spreads of your choice that you and your kids will surely love! This recipe takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

• White bread slices
• 2 medium-sized eggs
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 2 tsp sugar
• 2 tbsp milk
• Thinly sliced apple, banana, and strawberry or any fruits of your choice
• Nutella
• Cream cheese
• Sugar and cinnamon powder (if you choose apple as one of the fruits)
• 2 tsp butter
• Syrup or cinnamon sugar (optional for garnishing)

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, add 2 eggs.
Season with 1/8 tsp salt and 2 tsp sugar.
Add 2 tbsp milk.
Whisk until well mixed.
Set aside.

Flatten the white bread slices and remove edges.

Banana & Nutella Roll:
Take one bread slice and spread Nutella.
Put the banana slices on one side of the bread.
Roll the bread up.
Make as many as you like.
Set aside.

Strawberry & Cream Cheese Roll:
Take one bread slice and spread cream cheese.
Put the strawberry slices on one side of the bread.
Roll the bread up.
Make as many as you like.
Set aside.

Apple Roll:
Mix apple slices with sugar and cinnamon powder.
Put on one side of the bread.
Roll the bread up.
Make as many as you like.
Set aside.

Nutella or Cream Cheese Roll:
Take a bread slice and spread Nutella, cream cheese, or both.
Roll the bread up.
Set aside.

Dip and coat each roll into the egg mixture.
Set a nonstick pan over medium heat.
Melt 2 tsp butter.
Fry the rolls until golden brown.
Transfer to a plate.
Drizzle with syrup or cinnamon sugar for garnishing.
Serve and enjoy!
