How To Cook Tuna Steak

There are a couple of ways to cook meaty and tasty tuna steak. Probably the 2 best ways are through grilling and pan-frying. You better prepare these ingredients below and start cooking steak for lunch and dinner. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

• 2 Tuna steak cuts
• 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
• Pinch of salt
• Pinch fennel seeds
• Pinch of pepper
• Olive oil

Instructions:

Using a mortar and pestle, manually grind the seasonings.
Rub the mixture on each side of the tuna steaks.
Pour some olive oil.

1st way to cook the tuna steak: Pan-seared

Preheat frying pan over medium-high heat.
Place the steak into it.
Do not cook it all the way through.
Let it fry for 2 minutes.
Pour olive oil on the steak before flipping the other side.
Flip it on the other side.
Let it fry for another 2 minutes.
Transfer to a plate.

2nd way to cook the tuna steak: Grilling

Preheat grilling pan over high heat.
Place the steak into it.
Push the steak down the grill pan so that it has direct contact with the grill bars.
Do not cook it all the way through.
Let it grill for 2 minutes.
Flip on the other side.
Let it grill for another 2 minutes.
Transfer to a plate.

Tips and ideas:

When you cook using the grill pan, it is best not to grease with any oil.

You can serve it with lemon wedges or dips.

It can be paired with fresh veggies or fruit salad.
