How To Make Beef Jerky

Here’s how you can make your homemade beef jerky snacks.

Ingredients:

• 500 grams beef (thinly sliced bottom sirloin roast/flank/top round/rump roast)
• 3 tbsp lemongrass (minced)
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 2 tbsp garlic (minced)
• 2 teaspoon oil (or oyster sauce)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tbsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp five-spice powder
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tbsp hot chili flake

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix all spices and seasonings.
Add oil or oyster sauce to combine the ingredients well.
Coat all the sliced beef with the seasoning mixture.
Marinate the beef in the fridge for at least 5 hours, recommended overnight.

Preheat oven to 395 F.
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
Place the beef slices on the tray.
Let it bake for 15 minutes on each side.
Remove and transfer to a plate.
Serve and enjoy!
