How To Make Easy Baked Fish Fillets

Fish fillets are easy to make, delicious, healthy and versatile. Bake some fish fillets and pair with pasta. Place some rice in a bowl and top off with sliced fish fillet. Cut up fish fillets into squares and serve with fries or chips. These baked fish fillets are perfect for everyone, and even kids will be asking for second servings. Sprinkle some lemon juice over the baked fish fillets for an added zing.

This recipe takes about 25 to 30 minutes to make. Serves 3 to 5.


Ingredients:

• 4 to 5 slices of fish fillet
• Mayonnaise
• Lime juice
• Onion powder
• Breadcrumbs
• Unsalted butter
• Parsley, chopped
• Cooking spray

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 425F.
To prepare the fish spread, add the following ingredients in a small bowl: mayonnaise, lime juice, and onion powder.
Place the fish fillets on a baking dish.
Coat the fish fillets with the spread.
Sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top and some butter.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the fish fillets become flaky.
Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley.

Ideas And Tips:



• You can use any white fish fillet for this recipe like cod, haddock, tilapia, grouper, or dory.

• If you do not want to use mayonnaise, you can substitute with Greek yogurt, sour cream or mustard.

• You can use panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) to sprinkle on top of the fish fillet. You can even leave the breadcrumbs out if you want. If you decide to use panko, it does not turn brown compared to regular breadcrumbs. You can brown the panko in a skillet first before you sprinkle them on the fish fillet.
