How To Make French Toast

French toast is sliced bread soaked in a mixture of eggs and milk then fried or toasted. It only takes 10 minutes to prepare this famous recipe, which is traditionally served for breakfast. 🙂

Ingredients:

• 12 slices of French toast bread or any thick-sliced bread available.
• 3 large eggs
• 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups milk
• 1 tbsp granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions:

Prepare a large mixing bowl.
Crack open the eggs and lightly beat.
Pour milk and whisk until mixed with the beaten eggs.
Add vanilla extract, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
Stir everything until they are thoroughly mixed.
Add melted butter.
Mix again until everything are well combined.
Soak the bread slices in the mixture for about 5 seconds on each side.
Spray pan or electric griddle with non-stick spray.
Over medium heat, place the bread slices on top.
Let them toast for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and transfer to plate.
Top it off with melted butter and syrup.
Sprinkle some powdered sugar.
Serve and enjoy!
