Cheese is made from the milk of animals such as cows, goats, buffalos, and sheep. There are many different flavors and texture of cheeses. There are so many dishes that use cheese like pizza, pasta, sauces, bread, and desserts. Here we have 4 types of cheeses that are completely vegan.

These are great for your vegetarian friends and family. These cheese recipes can be used in a lot of dishes so that you can enjoy that delicious taste of cheese vegan style.


Ingredients:

Parmesan:

• 1/2 cup of roasted cashews
• 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
• 2 tsp of garlic salt

Easy Cheese Sauce:

• 1 tbsp of oil
• 1 tbsp of flour
• 1 cup of milk (plant-based is used in this recipe)
• 2 tsp of nutritional yeast
• Garlic salt
• Cayenne



Veggie Cheese Sauce:

• 2 potatoes
• 1 carrot
• 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
• 2 tbsp of olive oil
• Juice of half a lemon
• Garlic salt
• Paprika

Basic Firm Cheese:

• 1 cup non-lite plant milk
• 1 cup of cooked sweet potatoes
• Half a tsp of paprika
• Half a tsp of cumin
• 1 tsp of salt
• 1 tbsp of soy sauce
• 2 tsp of garlic powder
• Juice of half a lemon
• 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
• 1 cup of water
2.5 tsp of agar agar

Instructions:

Parmesan:

This recipe takes about 5 minutes to make. Serves 1 small jar of Parmesan.

Add the ingredients in a blender.
Blend until the texture is crumbly.
Transfer to a jar.

Easy Cheese Sauce:

This recipe takes about 5 to 6 minutes to make. Serves 1 small bowl of sauce.

Place a saucepan over medium heat.
Add oil and flour. Stir until well mixed.
Gradually add the milk while stirring.
Sprinkle nutritional yeast, garlic salt, and cayenne.
Simmer until the texture becomes thick and creamy.

Veggie Cheese Sauce:

This recipe takes about 5 to 7 minutes to make. Serves 1 small bowl of sauce.

Peel and chop carrots and potatoes.
Boil in water until tender.
Add vegetables, oil, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic salt and paprika in a blender.
Blend until smooth.

Basic Firm Cheese:

This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make. Cheese has to set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Servings depend on mold or container you use.

Peel and chop sweet potatoes. Cook in boiling water until tender.
Add milk, sweet potatoes, paprika, cumin, garlic salt, soy sauce, lemon juice, water and nutritional yeast in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Melt agar agar in a saucepan over medium heat with water until it thickens.
Pour agar agar into a blender and mix well.
Transfer the cheese mixture into molds and set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Ideas And Tips:

• If you don’t have garlic salt, you can mix garlic powder and salt.

• Agar agar is a jelly-like substance made from algae. It is a natural vegetable gelatin popularly used in vegan dishes.

• You can keep the basic firm cheese in the fridge for 4 to 5 days.
