Spicy Spaghetti Bolognese Twist

Spaghetti bolognese is a dish originating from Italy. It consists mainly of ground meat (beef or pork), tomato sauce, and wine poured over spaghetti pasta. It can be served as a main course or can be served with toasted bread.

Ingredients:

• 250 grams Spaghetti pasta
• 390 grams carton of Italian chopped tomatoes in tomato juice
• 1 onion (chopped)
• 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
• 350 grams of So Organic beef mince (10% fat)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 teaspoons gravy granules
• 2 teaspoons chili flakes
• Small amount of red wine

Instructions:

Prepare the sauce:
Set a medium pot over medium-high heat.
Heat oil.
Saute onion and garlic for 5 minutes or until onion is cooked.
Toss the beef mince.
Let it cook for 4-5 minutes or until the color changes.
Add the Italian chopped tomatoes in tomato juice and gravy granules.
Stir well.
Sprinkle chili flakes.
Pour red wine and stir.
Cover the lid and let it cook for 15 minutes.
Set aside.

Prepare the Spaghetti pasta:
Set a large saucepan over medium heat.
Put water and bring to a boil.
Add the pasta and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Drain the pasta.
Transfer to a plate.
Pour the sauce mixture.
Serve and enjoy!

Tips and ideas:

You can add shredded cheese or some chopped basil leaves for garnishing.
