Excited for the weekend? You are now, because it’s pie time! 🙂 Here are 5 perfect pie recipes you can prepare for the weekend or any any time.

1. Taco Mac & Cheese Garlic Bread Pie

Ingredients:

• 10 white bread slices
• Garlic butter
• 6 mozzarella slices

• 60 grams butter
• 30 grams flour
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
• 500 ml whole milk
• 150 grams cheddar cheese (grated)
• 100 grams mozzarella cheese (grated)
• 1/2 tbsp mustard
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 200 grams Macaroni (cooked)

• Oil
• 1 onion (chopped)
• 1 red bell pepper (diced)
• 1 garlic clove (chopped)
• 3 tbsp taco seasoning
• 500 grams beef mince
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 100 grams cheddar & mozzarella mix (grated)

• Finely chopped parsley (optional for garnishing)

Instructions:

Slice white bread slices.
Brush both sides with garlic butter.
Lay the bread slices in a high-sided baking dish.
Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 C.
Remove from oven and lay the mozzarella slices.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Set aside.

Set a skillet over medium heat.
Melt 60 grams of butter.
Add 30 grams flour and 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
Mix until well combined.
Gradually add 500 ml whole milk while stirring.
Let it simmer.
Add 150 grams grated cheddar, 100 grams grated mozzarella, and 1/2 tbsp mustard.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix all together until the cheese melts.
Add cooked macaroni and mix well.
Set aside.

Set a skillet over medium heat.
Heat oil.
Saute chopped onion and diced red bell pepper until caramelized.
Add chopped garlic, 3 tbsp taco seasoning, 500 grams beef mince, salt, and pepper.
Mix until well combined.
Let the beef mince cook until it changes color.
Remove from heat.
Spoon beef mixture and spread evenly to the bread-lined baking dish.
Spoon macaroni and cheese mixture and spread evenly on top.
Sprinkle with grated cheddar and mozzarella mix as toppings.
Bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 C.
Remove from the oven.
Garnish with finely chopped parsley.
Slice for serving and enjoy!

2. Scalloped Potato Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients:

• 1.5 kg potatoes (thinly sliced)
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 tsp salt

• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 onions (diced)
• 1 garlic clove (minced)
• 1 kg beef mince
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 90 grams ketchup
• 50 grams mustard

• 16 rashers bacon (sliced)
• 18 slices American cheese

Instructions:

Lay thinly sliced potatoes on a baking tray.
Coat well with 2 tbsp vegetable oil and 2 tsp salt.
Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 C.

Set a skillet over medium heat.
Heat oil and saute diced onions and minced garlic.
Add beef mince.
Season with 1 tsp salt, pepper, and onion powder.
Cook and mix well until beef changes color.
Add 90 grams ketchup and 50 grams mustard.
Mix well.
Remove from heat and set aside.

Set another skillet over medium heat.
Fry 16 rashers bacon until oil separates.
Remove from heat and set aside.

Line a cake tin with parchment paper and grease it.
Lay and arrange the potatoes on the bottom up to the sides.
Evenly spread half of the beef mixture, lay six American cheese slices on top, then sprinkle half of the fried bacon.
Lay potato slices for the next layer, spread the remaining beef mixture, then place the remaining six cheese slices on top.
Sprinkle the remaining fried bacon.
Top it off with the remaining potato slices.
Bake for 1 hour at 180 C.
Remove from the oven and remove the cake tin.
Slice for servings and enjoy!

3. Lasagna Pizza Pie

Ingredients:

• 500 grams + 300 grams pizza dough
• 4 cups bolognese
• 3 cups bechamel
• Lasagna sheets
• 18 Mozzarella slices

• 1 cup garlic cheese mix
• Cheddar and mozzarella mix (grated)

• Finely chopped parsley (optional for garnishing)

Instructions:

Prepare a springform pan.
Line the inside up to the side of the pan with 500 grams of pizza dough.
Layer the inside with bolognese, bechamel, lasagna sheets, and mozzarella cheese slices. The last layer should be cheese.
Cover with 300 grams of pizza dough.
Secure by pinching the edges of the dough.
Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven of 220 C.
Remove from the oven.
Evenly spread 1 cup garlic cheese mix on top.
Sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella mix.
Grill for 5 minutes.
Garnish with finely chopped parsley.
Slice for servings and enjoy!

4. Chicken Parm Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients:

• 3 chicken breasts (butterflied)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper
• 150 grams parmesan
• 1 tsp salt
• 100 grams flour
• 4 eggs (beaten)
• 180 grams Panko breadcrumbs
• 1-liter vegetable oil

• 800 grams cooked spaghetti
• 250 grams double cream
• 150 grams parmesan
• 5 eggs (beaten)
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1/2 tbsp black pepper
• Parmesan (for baking)
• Sliced mozzarella

• 1 tbsp oil
• 2 tsp garlic (minced)
• 1 large onion (chopped)
• 400 grams Passata
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tsp Italian herbs
• Grated cheese (for garnishing)

Instructions:

Season butterflied chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Dip in flour, beaten egg, then parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
Deep fry until golden brown.
Set aside.

In a separate bowl, put 800 grams of cooked spaghetti.
Add 250 grams double cream, 150 grams parmesan, and 5 beaten eggs.
Season with 1 tbsp salt and 1/2 tbsp black pepper.
Mix until well combined.
In a lined baking dish, sprinkle parmesan.
Spread evenly half of the spaghetti mixture.
Place mozzarella slices on top.
Place the fried chicken breasts next, add mozzarella slices, and top it off with the remaining half of the spaghetti mixture.
Bake for 35 minutes at a preheated oven of 180 C.
Remove from the oven and set aside.

Set a frying pan over medium heat.
Heat 1 tbsp oil.
Saute 2 tsp minced garlic and 1 large chopped onion.
Add 400 grams passata.
Season with 1 tsp Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
Cover the lid and let it simmer.
Remove from the oven.

Pour the passata mixture and spread evenly to the baked chicken parm spaghetti pie.
Top it off with grated cheese.
Bake for 35 minutes at 180 C.
Remove from the oven.
Slice for servings and enjoy!

5. Cheese Stuffed Mash Beef Pie

Ingredients:

• 6 boiled potatoes
• 10 slices chopped bacon
• 1/4 cup chives
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1/2 cup cheddar
• 1 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp salt

• 750 grams beef mince
• 400 grams pork mince
• 1/2 chopped onion
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1 tbsp pepper
• 1 tsp oregano
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• 1/4 cup parsley
• 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

• 2 tsp olive oil
• 1/2 chopped onion
• 2 minced garlic
• 1 tsp chili flakes
• 4 cups tomato passata
• Fresh Basil
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp pepper
• Mozzarella

Instructions:

Mash 6 boiled potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
Add 10 slices of chopped bacon, 1/4 cup chives, 2 beaten eggs, and 1/2 cup cheddar.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix until well combined.
Scoop a mixture and form into balls.
Place the balls in a baking dish.
Press a small round glass or anything to create a crater in the middle of each ball.
Set aside.

In a separate mixing bowl, put 750 grams beef mince and 400 grams pork mince.
Add 1/2 chopped onion, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1/4 cup parsley, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, and 2 beaten eggs.
Season with 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp pepper, and 1 tsp oregano.
Mixed until well combined.
Scoop a mixture and form into balls.
Place in the center of each potato mixture balls formed earlier.
Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven of 180 C.
Remove from the oven and set aside.

Set a frying pan over medium heat.
Let 2 tsp olive oil heat.
Saute 1/2 chopped onion, 2 minced garlic, and 1 tsp chili flake.
Add 4 cups of tomato passata.
Stir well.
Add fresh basil.
Cover the lid and let it simmer.
Season with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp pepper.
Stir well.
Remove from heat.
Scoop tomato passata mixture and pour over each meatball.
Place a mozzarella slice in each of them.
Bake for 10 minutes at 180 C.
Remove from the oven.
Slice for servings and enjoy!
