Green Kale Smoothie

Green smoothies are simply healthy. They give you the needed vitamins and minerals in a delicious and refreshing way. They are much healthier than fruit or vegetable juices because you still get the fiber in the drink and not only the juice. They are a great way to eat your veggies – especially for the kids – as you can make the smoothies as delicious and as sweet as you want with the fruits you add to them. Green smoothies are easy to digest, keep you hydrated, are low in calories but very filling and provide a lasting source of energy. Green smoothies may also give you a healthy and glowing skin as they are rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals which may reduce or eliminate the inflammation that causes skin irritations. Homemade green smoothies are also much cheaper than those you buy at a juice bar. You can even experiment with the flavors that suit your taste.
