How To Make Korean Ramen Better

Korean ramen, or also known as ramyeon, is probably one of the most favorite dishes in Korean cuisine aside from kimchi and bibim noodles. Ramen traditionally originated from Japan, but over the years it has created varieties in different parts of the world. The delicious taste of ramen plus the spicy flavor that comes with Korean cooking, this dish will surely make your dinner extraordinary.

Ingredients:

• 1 Korean instant ramen noodles
• 1 egg (beaten)
• 2 tbsp onion (chopped)
• 1 1/4 cups drinking water
• 1 tbsp spring onion (chopped for garnishing)

Instructions:

This recipe takes 10 minutes. Serves 1.

Set a pan over medium-high heat.
Pour 1 1/2 cups of water.
Add half of the ramen soup powder from the Korean ramen noodle pack.
Bring it to a boil.
Toss the ramen noodle.
Reduce heat to medium.
Let it cook for 2 minutes while stirring it lightly.
Drain the noodles and set aside.

Set a pan over high heat.
Pour 1 1/4 cups of water.
Add the remaining soup powder and ramen flakes.
Add chopped onions.
Bring to a boil.
Add the beaten egg slowly and let it cook.
Add the ramen noodles and let it cook for a few minutes.
Transfer to a bowl.
Top it off with chopped spring onions.
Serve and enjoy!
