How To Make The Best Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry

Beef and vegetables stir fry is a quick and easy to cook dish you can prepare and serve anytime. It consists of tender beef combined with vegetables that are perfectly flavored with seasonings. This recipe takes about 30 minutes and serves 2-3.

Ingredients:

For the beef and marinade:
• 1 lb flank steak/beef (thinly sliced)
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp corn starch
• 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

For vegetable stir fry:
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 1/2 cup red cabbage (sliced)
• 1/3 red bell pepper (chopped)
• 1 carrot (sliced)
• 1 Serrano chili (thinly sliced)
• 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
• 1 medium onion (chopped)
• 1/2 thumb-sized ginger (thinly sliced)
• 1 teaspoon salt to season
• 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

For the beef and marinade:
Place the thinly sliced beef in a plate or bowl.
Add all ingredients for the marinade.
Mix until well combined.
Marinate for 20 minutes.
Set aside.

For the vegetable stir fry:
Boil carrots and broccoli florets for 30 seconds.
Drain and rinse with cold water.

Set a frying pan over medium heat.
Heat olive oil.
Add marinated beef.
Season with salt.
Let it fry for a few minutes or until the meat is cooked.
Transfer to a plate.
Set aside.

In the same pan, saute garlic, ginger, and serrano chili for a minute.
Add onions, broccoli, carrots, red cabbage, and bell pepper.
Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add meat.
Stir and let it cook for a minute.
Remove from heat.
Transfer to a plate and serve!
