Make Your Own Healthy Raw Vegan Chocolate And Marzipan

Enjoy your weekend afternoon with a delicious and healthy dessert; raw vegan chocolate and marzipan. This is a sugar-free and no-bake healthy dessert that you and your guests will love. It only takes about 15 minutes to prepare this recipe (and then about 45 minutes in the fridge to set).

Ingredients:

For the chocolate:

• 1 cup cacao powder
• 1/4 cup raw carob powder
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup cashew butter
• 1/2 cup raw coconut oil
• 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla

For the marzipan:

• 1 1/2 cups ground almonds
• 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

For the chocolate:

Sift the cacao powder and raw carob powder into a medium bowl.
Add maple syrup, cashew butter, raw coconut oil, and alcohol-free vanilla.
Mix well until combined.
Continue to mix until the texture is smooth and thick.
Set aside.

For the marzipan:

In a food processor, add ground almonds and maple syrup.
Process it until well combined.
Continue to push until the texture is smooth and thick.
Transfer to a container.
Set aside.

Assembly:

Prepare cupcake molds.
Fill about half of the mold with chocolate mixture.
Get a little amount of marzipan.
Make a grape-sized shape out of it.
Place on top of the chocolate in the mold.
Do the same with the remaining chocolate and marzipan.
Place inside the fridge and chill for 45 minutes or until set.
Once chilled, serve immediately.
