Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

Monte Cristo sandwich is a very quick and easy recipe to make. It can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The ingredients are accessible and affordable. This recipe only takes 15 minutes and you’ll have a very cheesy and tasty sandwich waiting for you.

Ingredients:

• 3 slices of white sandwich bread
• 2 pieces ham
• 2 eggs
• 3 teaspoons mayonnaise
• 3 tbsp gouda cheese (grated)
• 5 teaspoons mayonnaise
• 5 teaspoons milk
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp butter

Instructions:

Slice the 4 brown edges of the bread.
Assemble the sandwiches.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread.
Add grated gouda cheese on each bread.
Put a piece of ham on the first slice of bread.
Next, stack the slice of bread with mayo and cheese.
Put a piece of ham on top.
Stack the remaining bread slice with cheese facing the ham.
Press lightly the sandwich.

Beat 2 eggs.
Add salt to taste.
Add milk and mix until well combined.
Dip and coat the sandwich on the egg mixture.

Set a skillet over medium heat.
Add butter and let it melt.
Cook the sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned.
Serve and enjoy!
