Strawberry Mousse Jello Low Calorie Dessert

Total preparation time for this recipe is about 10 minutes. The Jello needs to set for a minimum of 4 hours to overnight. Serves 2 to 3.

Ingredients:

• 6 oz package of strawberry Jello
• 1.5 to 2 cups of boiling water
• 1 cup of cold water
• 10 strawberries, cut into small bite size pieces
• 2 cups of Cool Whip
• Cooking spray

Instructions:

First, boil your water in a saucepan.
Place the powdered Jello in a bowl.
Slowly whisk the hot water into the Jello powder until dissolved completely.
Add cold water and whisk.
Set aside.
Use a bun cake mold, coat the bottom of the mold with cooking spray.
Place the strawberries at the bottom of the mold.
Pour half of the Jello mixture into the bun cake mold, covering the strawberries.
Place the bun cake mold and the leftover Jello in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
Add Cool Whip to the bowl of leftover Jello and slowly mix it until it turns pink.
Pour this mousse mixture into the bun cake mold.
Let it set in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours to overnight.
Prepare a bowl of hot water that is slightly bigger than the bun cake mold.
Place the mold on top of the water for 3 seconds.
Transfer the mousse onto a plate by turning it upside down.
If the mousse is still runny, place it back in the fridge until it sets.
