Apple Oatmeal Cake Recipe

This simple and easy apple oatmeal cake is an excellent choice for breakfast or an afternoon snack. This recipe is a combination of grated apples and rolled oats. A hint of cinnamon adds a classic flavor to this delicious cake.


Oat mixture:

• 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
• 1 2/3 cups flour
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Apple mixture:

• 6 apples (peeled and grated)
• 2-3 tbsp lemon juice

• 22 grams cold butter + 115 grams cold butter
• 1-2 tbsp sugar


In a mixing bowl, add rolled oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon.
Mix well and set aside.

In another mixing bowl, add grated apples and lemon juice.
Mix well and set aside.

Preheat oven to 180 C.

Prepare a 9-inch springform pan with parchment-lined at the bottom.
Grate 22 grams of cold butter in it.
Add 3-4 tbsp of the oat mixture.
Spread and distribute evenly.
Press the mixture lightly on the bottom.
Add 1/3 of the apple mixture and spread evenly.
Add 1/3 of the remaining oat mixture for the next layer.
Spread and distribute evenly.
Add 1/3 of the remaining apple mixture on top.
Spread and distribute evenly.
Repeat for another layer.
The last layer should be the remaining oat mixture.
Spread evenly.
Top it off with 115 grams of grated butter.
Sprinkle with 1-2 tbsp of sugar.
Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool down for 20 minutes.
Release the cake from the springform pan.
Slice for servings.

• 1 tbsp curry powder
• 1 apple, cored and diced
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 tbsp ginger
• 1 cup of olive oil
• juice of 1 lemon
• ½ tsp sea salt
• 4 cups salad mix


This recipe takes about 5 minutes to make. Serves 5.

Put salad green in a huge salad bowl.
To make the dressing, put all the ingredients in a food processor curry powder, apple, garlic, ginger, olive oil, lemon juice, and sea salt.
Blend until smooth.
Pour over salad mix.
Toss well to make sure that everything is coated with the salad dressing.

You can use anything for your raw salad mix but it is best to make it is balanced. Gluten-Free Apple Snack Cake

It is sometimes difficult to find quick, easy and healthy snack ideas that are still incredibly delicious. We would usually end up with store-bought chocolate bars or other junk treats that are loaded with sugar and preservatives. With this recipe, you can make a deliciously moist, light, gluten-free, and dairy-free apple snack cake which you can take with you to work or pack in your kids’ lunchboxes. You can even use 2 apples in this recipe if you want a more custard-like consistency rather than a cakey one.


• 1 tsp melted coconut oil
• 2 cups of almond flour
• ¼ cup of arrowroot powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• ¼ cup of coconut oil, melted
• ½ cup of raw honey
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1-2 medium apples, cored and diced
• 2 tsp turbinado sugar
• freshly grated nutmeg


This recipe takes about 45 minutes to make. Serves 12.

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 9”x11” baking dish with melted coconut oil.
Put almond flour, arrowroot powder, baking soda, kosher salt, cinnamon, and ground ginger in a large mixing bowl.
Mix the dry ingredients well.
In a small bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, raw honey, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
Add the dry ingredient to the wet ingredients and gently mix together.
Add diced apple and mix.
Evenly spread cake batter in the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle turbinado sugar and freshly grated nutmeg on top.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Let the cake cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Ideas And Tips:

• You can use ¼ cup of applesauce to replace the egg.
