Homemade pie crust is very easy to make. It’s even easier if you are going to make it vegan! You only need a handful of ingredients. You can even choose any filling you want for your pie. Isn’t it exciting?
• 1 cup dry walnuts or almonds
• 1 cup dried unsweetened shredded coconut
• 4-6 Medjool dates
• Pinch of rock salt
• Coconut oil for greasing
Prepare your food processor.
Place the dry walnuts, shredded coconut, and salt in it.
Chop the nuts.
Create pauses while using the food processor, because you want to break down the nuts.
Slowly add dates and continue chopping the nuts with the pauses.
Check the mixture and see if it comes together.
On a greased round pan, pour the mixture and press it into the bottom and sides.
Place inside the freezer for 1 hour.
You can now put any filling on it to complete the pie.
