How To Make the Best Peanut Butter Cookies

The peanut butter cookie is said to have originated in the United States. It’s created from a peanut butter-based cookie mixture and typically round – but could be formed into a variety of shapes. Some have fork marks as crisscross patterns on the cookies. This recipe takes about 45 minutes and makes 36 cookies.

Ingredients:

• 2 eggs
• 2 cups peanut butter
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• A pinch of salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Prepare a cookie sheet and lightly grease it.

Prepare a medium bowl.
Add peanut butter and sugar.
Whisk using a handheld mixer until the mixture is combined well and smooth.
Add one egg at a time while continuing to whisk.
Add baking soda, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract.
Mix to combine well.
Scoop from the mixture and place them on the lightly greased cookie sheet.
Make sure to leave a 2-inch space between cookies.
Press each cookie down using the back of the fork.
It also makes a crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.
Place the cookie sheets inside the preheated oven.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and transfer to a plate.
Let them cool.
Serve and enjoy!
