Ice cream is of course one of the world’s favorite frozen foods, typically either served as an evening dessert or a snack on a hot day. Ice cream consists of milk, cream, and sugar as ingredients. A flavor is then added into the mixture such as vanilla or chocolate. This ice cream recipe only takes about 30 minutes and more than 3 hours to make it a frozen food.
Ingredients:
Chocolate Flavor:
• 16 grams cacao dark chocolate
• 30 grams whipping cream
• 70 grams whipping cream
• 30 grams sugar (divided)
• 1 egg white (30 grams)
Vanilla Flavor:
• 1 egg yolk
• 30 grams sugar
• 100 grams fresh cream
• 1 tbsp water
• 2-3 drops vanilla essence
Instructions:
Chocolate Flavor:
In a small microwave-safe bowl, add 16 grams of cacao dark chocolate.
Microwave for 30 seconds.
Once done, stir to combine.
Continue to stir until smooth.
Set aside.
In a medium to large mixing bowl, add 70 grams of whipping cream.
Add 15 grams of sugar to the bowl.
Whip to combine and soft peaks form.
Add a little of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
Fold well to combine.
Once done, transfer it to the bowl of the remaining whipped cream.
Fold well to combine.
Set aside.
In a separate bowl, add 30 grams of egg white.
Whip until bubbles forms.
Gradually add the remaining sugar.
Continue to whip until soft peaks form.
Transfer to the chocolate mixture.
Mix well to combine.
Transfer to any kind of container you prefer for your ice cream.
Gently shake to spread the mixture evenly.
Place inside the freezer for at least 3 hours.
After at least 3 hours, remove from the freezer.
Serve the ice cream and enjoy!
Vanilla Flavor:
In a medium to large mixing bowl, add 100 grams of fresh cream.
Add half of the sugar.
Whip well to combine until soft peaks form.
Set aside.
Put a medium to large mixing bowl in a large pot with hot water.
Add egg yolk and 1 tbsp of water into the bowl.
Add the remaining sugar.
Whip well to combine until smooth.
Transfer to the bowl of whipped cream.
Add 2-3 drops of vanilla essence.
Fold until well combined and smooth.
Transfer to any kind of container you prefer for your ice cream.
Gently shake to spread the mixture evenly.
Place inside the freezer for at least 3 hours.
After at least 3 hours, remove from the freezer.
Serve the ice cream and enjoy!
