Chicken Sliders Recipe

Prepare these tasty chicken sliders in a quick and easy way. Make your chicken filling more flavorful with seasonings mixed in. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the recipe to make it cheesier. This recipe is perfect for snacks. It can also be served as a dish for your lunch or dinner.


For the dough:

• 2 cups plain flour
• 1 tsp instant yeast
• 1 tbsp milk powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 2 tbsp melted butter
• warm water (as required)

For the chicken filling:

• 1 cup shredded boiled chicken
• 1 chopped onion
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 chopped capsicum
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp paprika powder
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp salt

• tomato ketchup
• grated cheddar cheese
• mozzarella cheese slices
• egg wash
• sesame seeds


For the dough:

In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of plain flour, 1 tsp instant yeast, 1 tbsp milk powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp sugar.
Mix well.
Gradually add warm water while mixing the mixture until it thickens.
Add 2 tbsp melted butter and mix well.
Make it into a round shape.
Cover the bowl with cling film.
Leave for 2 hours at room temperature.
After 2 hours, get a handful of the dough and form into round shapes.
Place in a lightly greased baking pan.
Cover the pan and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat oven to 200 C.
After 30 minutes, place the baking tray in the oven.
Bake for 10 minutes.

For the chicken filling:

Set a pan over medium heat.
Add 1 tbsp oil and warm it up.
Saute chopped onion until soft.
Add shredded boiled chicken and chopped capsicum.
Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika powder.
Stir to combine well.
Add soy sauce.
Stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
Switch off the heat.
Add mayonnaise while the chicken mixture is still hot.
Mix well.
Set aside.


Slice the bread in half.
Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
Spread tomato ketchup on it.
Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese, followed by the chicken filling.
Place mozzarella cheese slices on top.
Cover with the upper half of the bread.
Brush the top of the bread with egg wash.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Place inside the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 200 C.
After 15 minutes, remove from the oven.
Slice for servings.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
