Thrill your friends by preparing this easy shrimp tacos recipe! A corn tortilla is heated and filled with seasoned shrimps and favorite toppings like shredded red cabbage, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, diced avocado, and shredded cheese. Make it more tasteful with a drizzle of lime juice and taco sauce.
• 1 lb medium-sized shrimps (peeled and deveined)
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp ground cumin
• 1 garlic clove (minced)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 cups red cabbage (shredded)
• 1/2 red onion (diced)
• 1 lime (slice into wedges)
• 1 large avocado (diced)
• 1/4 bunch cilantro (chopped)
• 1 cup Cotija cheese (shredded)
• 8-10 corn tortillas
• 1/3 cup sour cream
• 1/3 cup mayonnaise
• 1/2 tbsp lime juice
• 3/4 tsp garlic powder
• 3/4 tsp sriracha sauce
In a bowl, add peeled and deveined shrimps.
Season with salt, black pepper, ground cumin, and minced garlic.
Mix to coat the shrimps well.
Set a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add olive oil and heat it.
Add the seasoned shrimps.
Saute for 2 minutes on each side until shrimps change color.
Remove from the pan and transfer to a serving plate.
Add shredded red cabbage, diced red onion, lime wedges, diced avocado, chopped cilantro, and shredded Cotija cheese on the serving plate.
Meanwhile, you heat corn tortillas for 10 seconds on each side over medium-low heat.
Place them on the serving plate.
In a small bowl, mix ingredients for the taco sauce.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Transfer to a squeeze bottle.
Assemble shrimp tacos.
Lay tortillas and place the fillings.
Squeeze in juice of a lime wedge.
Drizzle with taco sauce.
