Deviled eggs are hard-boiled eggs that have the yolk removed and mixed with herbs, spices, and mayonnaise. This yolk mixture is placed back in the white part of the eggs. These eggs are often served as a side dish, appetizer, or main course.
In this recipe, the eggs are flavored with Dijon mustard, relish, and dill. Simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
• 6 eggs
• 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp of sweet relish
• 1 tbsp of dill relish
• 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
• Half a tsp of onion powder
• Half a tsp of garlic powder
• Paprika
• Green onion
Instructions:
This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make. Serves 12 deviled eggs.
Boil the eggs in water for 7 to 8 minutes.
Bounce the eggs on a flat surface to loosen up the shell.
Scoop out the yolk and place in a bowl.
Crush the yolks until crumbly.
Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard with egg yolks.
Add relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Transfer the dressing in a bag and snip of a corner.
Pat dry the eggs and place on top of a paper towel.
Pipe the dressing on the eggs.
Garnish with paprika and green onion.
Ideas And Tips:
• Paprika and green onions are optional. You can leave the deviled eggs as they are or add other herbs and spices.
• You can use vegan mayo which is made out of soy milk, apple cider vinegar, oil, and salt.
