These potato bread pockets are super flavorful and easy to prepare. This easy snack recipe is not just delicious, but also a healthy snack idea. You can add other of your favorite vegetables in the mixture for a more nutritious recipe. This recipe takes about 30 minutes to prepare and cook.


• 2 medium potatoes (peeled and grated)
• 2 tbsp carrot (grated)
• salt to taste
• 1 tsp chili flakes
• 1 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp capsicum (diced)
• 1/4 tsp ginger powder
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• white bread slices
• oil (for frying)


In a mixing bowl, add grated potatoes and carrots.
Season with chili flakes, ginger powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to taste.
Add finely chopped coriander and diced capsicum.
Mix until well combined.
Set aside.

Remove the crusts of the white bread slice.
Flatten using a rolling pin.
Get a spoonful of the mixture and place it on the edge of the bread.
Form it into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
Brush some water on the space without the mixture.
Roll it up and seal the edges.

Set a frying pan over medium heat.
Add oil and warm it up.
Fry the potato bread pockets until golden brown.
Once done, remove from the pan.
Transfer to a plate.
Serve with your favorite dip.
