DIY Raw Sprouted Buckwheat Granola! (The Best Healthy Snack Ever)

Sprouted buckwheat offers health benefits, especially that it’s high in minerals and antioxidants. It is gluten-free, which is a great addition to your healthy meal. In this recipe, sprouted buckwheat is an ingredient to the “best healthy granola snack you’ll ever taste”. It is sugar-free and packed with other healthy ingredients such as sprouted sunflower seeds, organic apple, and date paste.


• 3 cups buckwheat
• 1 cup sunflower seeds (or any nuts/seeds you prefer)
• 1 cup date paste
• 1 organic apple (grated)
• A handful of organic dried cranberries
• Pure organic orange oil
• 1 tsp cinnamon powder
• 1 tsp vanilla powder
• A pinch of Himalayan salt


Soak and sprout 3 cups of buckwheat.
You can do this by putting buckwheat in a water-filled container and soak for 3-4 hours.
After soaking, drain the water using a strainer.
Let the buckwheat sit on the strainer for 1-2 days and let them sprout.
Rinse in cold water four times a day.
Once you see little tails coming out, they are ready to go.

Soak and sprout 1 cup of sunflower seeds.
The same as the buckwheat, once you see the seeds are sprouting, they are ready to go.

Put the sprouted buckwheat and sunflower seeds in a mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup date paste.
Mix until well combined.
Add grated organic apple.
Add cinnamon powder, vanilla powder, a pinch of Himalayan salt, and drizzle pure organic orange oil.
Add a handful of organic dried cranberries.
Mix until well combined.
Spread on a parchment-lined dehydrator.
Place inside the dehydrator for 12 hours or overnight.
You can eat it right away once done in the dehydrator.
You can mix it in your salad or topping on your ice cream.
