These soft and fluffy homemade cinnamon rolls are sweet snacks you can prepare for a weekend brunch. This recipe is quick and easy to follow with just a few ingredients needed. The amounts listed make about 12 cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients:
Dough:
• 3 cups flour
• 3/4 cup warm milk
• 1/4 cup butter
• 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
• 1 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp yeast
• 1 egg
Cinnamon Mix:
• 1/2 cup soft brown sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon powder
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
Instructions:
Dough:
In a mixing bowl, add warm milk.
Add an egg.
Whisk to combine.
Add sugar, salt, softened unsalted butter, and yeast.
Whisk to combine.
Add flour.
Mix well until dough comes together.
Knead the dough until smooth.
Flatten the dough.
Cover it with a bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Cinnamon Mix:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Prepare another mixing bowl.
Add soft brown sugar and cinnamon powder.
Mix well.
Set aside.
After 5 minutes, roll out the dough until it has 1/4th-inch of thickness.
Spread the unsalted butter on the dough.
Sprinkle the cinnamon mix on top.
Spread it by using a spatula to distribute evenly.
Roll up the dough.
Pinch the edge to seal.
Divide the dough to equal portions.
Place each portion into a butter-greased baking dish.
Cover the dish with cling film.
Let it rest for 50-60 minutes to increase in size.
Once done, place it inside the oven.
Let it bake for 18-20 minutes.
Once golden brown, remove from the oven.
Serve and enjoy!

You can use a baking sheet or tray and line it with baking parchment if a baking dish is not available.
You can add frosting on top of each cinnamon roll once done baking.
