Here is a quick and easy recipe for salmon with garlic butter sauce. Salmon becomes more mouthwatering and tasty when drizzled with a super savory garlic butter sauce. Add mashed or new potatoes and a steamed vegetable mix as a side-dish and your meal is beyond perfect! This recipe takes about 30 minutes. Serves 4.
Ingredients:
• Four 6-8 oz salmon fillets without skin
• 2 tbsp finely diced red onion
• 1-2 minced garlic cloves
• 2 tbsp dry vermouth
• 2 tbsp very cold butter
• 1/3 cup heavy cream
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
• Neutral oil
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Instructions:
Drizzle the salmon fillets with a little amount of neutral oil.
Season with salt and fresh ground pepper to taste on both sides.
Set a nonstick pan over medium heat and heat it.
Place the salmon fillet with the top side facing down.
Let it cook for a few minutes or until 1/4 of the salmon changes color.
Flip on the other side and let it cook.
Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate.
Set a pan over medium heat.
Heat 1 tsp neutral oil.
Add 2 tbsp finely diced red onion and 1-2 minced garlic cloves.
Let it cook for a few minutes or until onion softens.
Add 2 tbsp dry vermouth and let it bubble.
Add 2 tbsp cold butter.
Stir and let it melt.
Add 1/3 cup heavy cream and stir to mix.
Let it simmer.
Add juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill.
Stir and continue to simmer.
Season with salt and fresh ground pepper.
Stir it.
Remove from the heat.
Drizzle the sauce over the salmon fillets.
Serve and enjoy!
