Smoothies is a beverage made from blended ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, water, dairy products or sweeteners. It is similar to a milkshake but does not contain ice cream. Smoothies can be very healthy if you use fewer sweeteners and more fruits or vegetables. Making smoothies is so easy that even kids can make them. Prepare your ingredients and then place them in a blender. These 3 smoothies help you stay full longer without having that heavy feeling. All of the ingredients are low in calories, but high in antioxidants, fiber, and protein.
Ingredients:
Blueberry Greek Yogurt Smoothie:
• 1/4 cup of water
• Half a cup of Greek yogurt
• Half a cup of blueberries
• 1 tbsp of chia seeds
• Cinnamon
• Half a banana
• Ice
Almond Butter and Banana Smoothie:
• 1 banana
• Half a cup of Greek yogurt
• 5 to 6 berries
• 1/4 cup of almond butter
• 1 tbsp of chia seeds
• Half cup of water
• Cinnamon
• Ice
Blueberry Avocado Smoothie:
• Half a cup of water
• 1/4 to half of an avocado
• Half a cup of blueberries
• Half a tbsp of coconut oil
• 1 tbsp of chia seeds
• Cinnamon
• Stevia or half a tbsp of honey
• Ice
Instructions:
All of the smoothies take about 5 minutes each to make. Serves 1.
Place all of the ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
