In this recipe, a simple way of making carrot juice is improved by adding a hint of ginger and lime. Ingredients:

• 2 medium-sized carrots
• Ginger
• Water
• Juice of 1 lime
• Brown sugar

Instructions:

This recipe takes 5 minutes to make. Serves 1 to 2.

Peel and roughly chop carrots.
Chop ginger with the skin intact.
Place the carrots and ginger in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Place a strainer over a jug or bowl.
Pour the mixture through a strainer to remove the carrot pulp.
Add lime juice and stir well.
Pour the juice into a glass.
Add brown sugar to taste.
Serve with ice.
