Pizza is an Italian dish that was made popular in Naples. Nowadays, pizza is known worldwide. The best thing about pizza is that you can put any topping you want, and satisfy your cravings while keeping you full.

This recipe shows a healthier version of pizza. No flour, no baking soda, and no yeast. This unique pizza crust is made from cauliflower. Mixed with Parmesan cheese and an egg, this pizza crust is thin and holds all your toppings together.

• 2 cups of grated cauliflower
• 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 egg
• Pizza toppings like basil, spinach, mushrooms, tomato sauce

This recipe takes about 45 to 50 minutes to make. Serves 2.

Preheat oven to 400F.
Grate the cauliflower to make a slightly powdery texture.
In a pan over medium heat, heat the cauliflower to remove all the moisture for at least 10 minutes.
Set aside and let them cool.
In a bowl, beat one egg and add Parmesan cheese.
Place parchment paper over your baking sheet or pizza plate.
Mix the cooled cauliflower with the egg and Parmesan cheese.
Spread out the cauliflower mixture on the parchment paper and even out using your hands or a spatula.
Make sure that the crust has even thickness so it cooks properly.
Cook in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Spread out tomato sauce and add your choice of toppings.
Put back the pizza in the oven for another 10 minutes to melt the cheese and cook your toppings.
Cool the pizza on a wired rack for a few minutes before serving.

Ideas and Tips:

• Make sure to use hard cheese to make the crust. Aside from Parmesan, you can use asiago or Romano cheese.
