Easy Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe

This easy and simple shrimp fried rice recipe is a dish you can serve for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This requires constant stirring of the shrimp, sprouts, and rice until they are cooked through. Serve it immediately while it is hot to savor the taste.

Ingredients:

• 4 cups long grain rice (cooked)
• 4-5 oz bean sprouts
• 1 lb medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 teaspoon sesame oil
• 2 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger (minced)
• 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
• 1/4 cup green onion (chopped)
• 1/4 cup chicken broth
• 3 tbsp cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions:

Rice Preparation:
Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
Place in a baking dish.
Let it cool off to room temperature.
Once cooled off, set in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

Shrimp Preparation:
Put the shrimps in a bowl.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Add minced garlic, chopped green onion, and chopped ginger.
Mix until well combined.
Set in the fridge and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.

For Seasoning Sauce:
Mix chicken broth and dark soy sauce.

Fry the ingredients:
Set a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
Put oil and let it heat.
Add the shrimp mixture.
Stir and let it cook until the shrimps’ color changes.
Add the bean sprouts.
Saute for a minute.
Add the rice.
Stir and stir until well combined.
Add the seasoning sauce.
Mix well.
Add chopped green onions.
Continue mixing the combine well.
Sprinkle sesame oil.
Transfer to a plate and serve immediately.

Tips and ideas:

You can add other vegetable ingredients such as carrots, scallions, yellow corn, etc. whatever suits your taste.
