Cheesy tater tots is a popular side dish or appetizer that originated in the United States. Usually, it is made from shredded or deep-fried potato. This recipe is very quick and easy to make, which only takes less than 20 minutes.
• 4 cups shredded hash brown potatoes
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tbsp flour
• 3 eggs
• Cheddar cheese (cubed)
• Oil for frying
Put shredded hash brown potatoes and flour in a mixing bowl.
Crack 3 eggs.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix all ingredients until well combined.
Get a cube of cheddar cheese and wrap it around with the mixture to make a tot.
Repeat wrapping to other cheddar cheese cubes.
Set a frying pan over high heat.
Put oil and let it heat.
Place the tots in the frying pan.
Let it fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Remove and transfer to a plate.
Serve and enjoy!
