Amazing Vegan Sushi Roll Recipe
Sushi is a Japanese dish made from rice, vegetables, seafood, eggs, meat, or fruits. Rice is spread out on a nori sheet and then fillings are added before a mat is used to roll them into place. The sushi roll is then cut to reveal the fillings inside. Sushi is usually dipped in a sauce made from soy sauce and wasabi. Sushi is enjoyed all over the world. This recipe allows you to enjoy a vegetarian sushi roll at home. You can add whatever vegetable you like in this sushi roll. Delicious, light, and healthy, this is a great way to satisfy your Japanese cuisine cravings.
Ingredients:
• Half of an avocado
• Cooked white sushi rice
• 150 grams of cooked Tuscan black rice
• Nori sheets
• Shimeji mushrooms
• Asparagus strips
• Carrots strips
• Coconut oil
• Sesame seed oil
Instructions:
This recipe takes 15 to 20 minutes to make. Serves 2.
Cut the vegetables into equal sized strips.
In a frying pan over medium heat, add coconut oil and garlic.
Sauté the carrots, asparagus, and shimeji mushrooms. Season with sesame seed oil.
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir gently.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Spread out such rice on a nori sheet until 1cm from the edge.
Line wasabi on the edge where the rice begins.
Add vegetables on top of the rice.
Carefully roll the nori sheet.
Slice the avocados thinly.
Spread them out gently on top of the sushi roll.
Use bamboo mat to compress the avocado slices.
Slice the sushi roll into desired thickness.
Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
