Eggs probably is one of the cheapest food and the easiest to cook. It is very simple to cook and prepare especially for breakfast. You can pair it with rice, wheat bread, or you can eat them alone. Here are five quick and easy ways to cook perfect eggs every time.
Ingredients:
• 1 dozen of organic egg
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• Butter
• Water
Instructions:
Scrambled Eggs:
In a bowl, crack open 4 eggs.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Whisk or mix it.
Set a nonstick skillet over low heat.
Melt 2 tbsp of butter.
Add the egg mixture.
Wait until you see a little bit of the egg set on the outside.
Push the eggs from the outside in and around the pan using a rubber spatula.
Continue pushing in and around until it’s half cooked.
Add 1 tbsp of butter.
Melt the butter and let the egg cook until its creamy.
Serve immediately.
Fried Eggs:
Set a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Melt 1 tbsp butter.
Crack open an egg into the pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add a few drops of water.
Immediately cover the skillet and let the steam help in cooking the egg white for a few minutes.
Serve immediately.
Boiled Eggs:
Set a large pot over medium-high heat.
Place eggs inside the pot.
Pour water until eggs are covered by 1 inch of water.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from the heat.
Cover the lid between 4-16 minutes depending on your preference.
Once cooked in your preference, immediately get the eggs and soak in water with ice to cool down.
Tap and roll gently the egg to peel the shell.
Serve immediately.
4-6 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.
8-10 minutes for medium-boiled eggs.
12-16 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
Poached Eggs:
First way:
Crack open an egg to a container.
Set a large pot and put water.
Bring to a boil.
Add 1 tbsp salt.
Do a whirlpool trick on the boiling water by sticking the spoon in the water and swirl in the center.
Drop the egg in the swirl.
Let it cook for a few minutes.
Scoop it out the water and dab to remove excess water.
Serve immediately.
Second way:
Set a large pot and put water.
Bring to a boil.
Place small bowls inside the pot (depends on how big the pot is).
Make sure the bowls are covered with water.
Once it boils, drop the egg in each bowl.
Let it cook until you see the egg white formed.
Get the bowls outside the pot.
Scoop the egg and dab to remove excess water.
Serve immediately.
Tips and ideas:
These eggs can be served alone, with rice/fried rice, or wheat bread.
You can garnish it with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and chopped parsley.
It can be served with bacon, roasted potatoes, vegetable salad, or guacamole.
