Classic French Toast For Breakfast (In Only 10 Minutes)

There’s always something delicious to look forward to when it comes to preparing classic French toast for breakfast. It’s super quick and easy to prepare with just a few ingredients. This recipe is primarily made of thick-sliced bread dipped and coated in an egg mixture, then pan-fried. You can drizzle it with your favorite sweet syrup and butter. Complete your morning meal with this 10-minute classic French toast.

Ingredients:

• 2 large eggs
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
• pinch of salt
• 5-6 thick-sliced white bread
• 1 tbsp butter

• some butter (optional for toppings)
• honey or maple syrup (optional for toppings)
• mixed berries (optional for toppings)

Instructions:

In a bowl, crack two large eggs and add 2 tbsp brown sugar.
Whisk until well blended.
Add 1/3 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt.
Whisk until well blended.
Set aside.

Set a pan over medium heat.
Add 1 tbsp butter and let it melt.
Dip the white bread slices into the egg mixture until coated well.
Add the slices of bread into the pan.
Let it cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate.
Put a slice of butter on top of the breads.
Drizzle some honey or maple syrup.
Put some mixed berries on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

Late Night Smashed Cheeseburger

This late night smashed cheeseburger is an easy and fun recipe you can easily make at home. You can add your preferred burger filling such as tomato slices and some herbs. This recipe makes 2 burgers. You can adjust the ingredient quantities accordingly to prepare for 2-3 persons.

Ingredients:

• 2 buns
• 2 x 1/4 lbs ground beef (formed into balls)
• salt to taste
• 2-4 tbsp mayonnaise
• a small handful of iceberg lettuce (chopped)
• 4-5 pickle slices
• 1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
• 1 cheddar cheese slice

Instructions:

Toast the buns on the grill until golden brown.
Once done, remove from the grill.
Place the bun slices on a work surface.
Spread 1-2 tbsp of mayonnaise on the top and bottom bun.
On the bottom bun, add a small handful of chopped iceberg lettuce.
Add pickle slices and thin slices of red onion.
Set aside while grilling the patties.

Season both sides of ground beef balls with salt.
Place them on the grill.
Put a piece of parchment paper on top of each beef ball.
Smash each ball to make a patty using a smasher and a spatula.
Grill for 1-2 minutes until cooked.
Flip on the other side and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of one patty.
Add the other patty on top of the cheese.
Remove from the grill using a spatula and add on the bun.
Cover with the top bun.
Enjoy!

Tips and ideas:

You can use a skillet if you don’t have a grill.

Serve with (or without) fries.
