Tamagoyaki or also known as egg rolls is a Japenese omelet, that is cooked by rolling layers of egg mixture. This is a perfect dish for breakfast served with fresh milk. In some recipes, the egg mixture is combined with vegetables and some spices for a much flavorful food. This recipe takes about 20 minutes. Serves 2.
Ingredients:
• 3 eggs
• 1 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp carrot (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp green part of spring onion (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp milk
• Salt and ground pepper to taste
• Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, crack open 3 eggs.
Add milk.
Season with salt.
Whisk until well combined.
Sift the egg mixture to remove lumps.
Add finely chopped onion, carrot, and green part of spring onion.
Season with black pepper.
Mix well.
Set a frying pan over low heat.
Lightly grease with vegetable oil.
Pour 1/2 of the mixture into the pan.
Cook it until half done.
Roll halfway through the middle, then add the remaining mixture.
Cook until half done and roll again up to make an egg roll.
Remove and transfer to a cutting board.
Cut into bite-size pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
